Wings Acquire Wailes From Calgary

The Philadelphia Wings have
acquired forward Kyle Wailes from the Calgary Roughnecks for the Wings’ first
pick in the 2007 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.
Wailes was drafted by
Calgary in the first round (ninth
overall) of the 2006 National Lacrosse League Draft. The 6’1”, 195-pound, left-hander played
four seasons for Brown University.
The Toronto, ON native was also a two-time scoring champion in the
Ontario Lacrosse Association.
“Kyle
is a gifted offensive left hander that I had the opportunity
to watch play in the Canadian Junior Leagues,” said Wings General Manager and Head
Coach Lindsay Sanderson. “He is a
very talented athlete and is a great acquisition for our offense this
season.”
