Wings Go Green On March 17

hThe Philadelphia Wings celebrate St. Patrick's Day on
March 17 when they face the Minnesota Swarm at the Wachovia Center at 7:30
p.m.
The Wings will wear commemorative St. Patrick's Day jerseys, courtesy of
Toyota Tundra. All player jerseys will be auctioned off as
well as the jersey that Mad Dog will wear during the game with the proceeds
benefiting the Philadelphia School District's second-year lacrosse program and
the Comcast Spectacor Foundation. Pre-bids for the jerseys will be taken
in the Broad Street Atrium through halftime with the live auction commencing in
the Cingular Pavilion immediately after the game.
Limited quantities of replica St. Patrick's Day jerseys will be available for
purchase during the game. Replica jerseys are available for Jake Bergey,
Jeff Ratcliffe, and Sean Greenhalgh and are available in adult small, medium,
large, extra large, double XL, and 3XL.
As part of the St. Patrick's Day festivities two Irish Dancing Groups,
Dansations School of Dance and the Do Cairde School will be performing pre-game
and at halftime. There will also be appearances by the Wings' own
leprechaun, in-game music from Irish bands, a special Wings St. Patrick's Day
video, and of course, green beer.
The first 1,000 kids 12 & under will also receive green Sean Greenhalgh
t-shirts courtesy of Toyota Tundra.
