Wings Show Love For Fans
Friday, April 6, 2007
The Philadelphia Wings celebrate the most loyal, lound, and proud fans in the National Lacrosse League tomorrow night when they host Fan Appreciation Night during their game against the New York Titans at the Wachovia Center at 7:30 p.m. Prizes will be given away throughout the game including autographed Wings jerseys, a dinner with Wings’ President/Owner Russ Cline in Victors’ Club prior to a 2008 home game, dinner at DiNardo’s Restaurant with Wings’ players, the opportunity to sit on the bench during pre-game warm-ups, and much, much more! The first 5,00 fans will also receive a Philadelphia Wings and a Philadelphia Angels team poster.
The Wings will also be hosting the Katie Samson Foundation Night on Saturday. Tickets were sold to the teams participating in the April 21 Katie Samson Festival lacrosse tournament, with proceeds benefiting spinal cord injury research, patient care, and quality of life purchases like specialized wheelchairs. Katie Samson, a lacrosse standout at Radnor High School and Middlebury College who was paralyzed in 2000, will be on hand for the game and will drop the ball for the ceremonial first face-off. The Katie Samson Foundation has raised over $600,000 to date for research and patient care. For more information logon to www.katiesamsonlaxfest.com.
