Wednesday, January 30, 2008

The Philadelphia Wings will televise three games on Comcast SportsNet during the 2008 season beginning with a match-up against the Western Division leading Colorado Mammoth on February 15 in Denver.  The Wings will also broadcast two games against their divisional rival, the Toronto Rock, on Saturday, March 8 and Saturday, April 26.

The Wings are currently tied for first place (3-0) with the Minnesota Swarm in the East Division of the National Lacrosse League after defeating the Buffalo Bandits in an exciting 15-14 overtime game last Saturday at the Wachovia Center.  The West Division leading Mammoth are currently 4-0, and will face the Portland Lumberjax on Thursday, February 7 prior to their February 15 game against Philadelphia.  Wings forward Athan Iannucci currently leads the NLL in goals with 14.
