Wings forward Athan Iannucci was chosen as part of
the starting lineup for the 2008 NLL East Division All-Star Team.

that I was worthy of starting in the All-Star Game,” said Iannucci, who will
make is first All-Star appearance. “I am looking forward to the game
because I think it is going to be a lot of fun to play along side and against
the best players this league has to offer.”
Iannucci will join Buffalo forward John Tavares and transition player
Mark Steenhuis; Rochester forward John Grant; Minnesota defender Ryan Cousins
and goalie Nick Patterson in the starting line up of the East Division
squad. The starters were determined by a combination of fan voting, team
General Managers/Head Coaches voting, and league media voting. Each accounted
for one-third of the total vote for the starting lineups.

graduate has scored the game-winning goal in each of the Wings last two games
versus Colorado and Minnesota. He was selected by the Wings in the first
