Angels Spotlight - Holly
Tuesday, March 25, 2008
Holly is currently a senior at
LaSalle University and is expecting to graduate in May 2008 with a degree in
Political Science. During her spare time she works at a Law firm, teaches dance
at Dance Adelphia: Jason Douglas, and is a member of the Angels dance
team.
She began dancing at age three when her mother
enrolled her in a ballet class. Holly has continued dancing because she enjoys
the feeling it gives her and it has been a good outlet for stress in her life.
This is Holly’s second year dancing as an Angel; she
became interested in dancing for the Angels when she attended a Wings game and
saw the dancers. She was impressed by their performance and thought that it
would be a fun group to try out for. During her two years as an Angel, the
Dancing with the Seniors community event has been her favorite experience
because the seniors were very enthusiastic about the event.
Her favorite Angels’ performance song is Toy Solider
by Britney Spears.
She volunteers for Rob Brady’s re-election campaign
for U.S. Congress.
Holly plans on attending Law school this coming
Fall.
Advice to aspiring
dancers:
“Never give up; some times it may be difficult, but
it’s a good challege.”
