Wings Sign Former All Star Transition Player Josh Sims

The Philadelphia Wings
have signed nine year veteran transition player Josh Sims according to General
Manager David Huntley. Sims played
for the Colorado Mammoth the past seven seasons and helped the team to their
only NLL Championship in 2006.
In his 112 games
played with the Washington Power (2001-02) and Colorado (2003-09), Sims picked up 770 loose
balls and had 195 total points (87G, 108A). He also posted an impressive 94 loose
balls and 22 points (14G, 8A) in 12 career playoff
games.
As a collegiate player
for Princeton
University, Sims helped
lead the Tigers to two National Championships (1997-98). He was also named an NCAA All American
three times and won the NCAA’s Division I midfielder of the year award on two
occasions (1998, 2000).
