The reigning 2009 NCAA college player of the year,
Max Seibald, will make his professional National Lacrosse League debut as a
member of the Philadelphia Wings when the Wings (1-3) travel to Toronto to face
the Rock (3-1) at the Air Canada Centre on Friday, February 5, and then return
home to the Wachovia Center to meet the Orlando Titans (2-1) on Saturday,
February 6.
The Wings acquired Seibald from the Boston Blazers on
January 25, 2010, in exchange for the Wings 2010 first-round draft pick and
future considerations. Seibald is Cornell University's first recipient of the
Tewaaraton's award, which awards college lacrosse's player of the year, and just
the third player in the awards nine-year history to win the trophy despite not
winning a national championship. He racked up 141 career points, the most ever
by a Big Red midfielder, and has proven to be one of the most consistent players
in the country, having registered at least one point in 59 of his 62 career
games.

Colin Doyle leads the Rock in scoring with 26
points (3G, 23A), followed by rookie Garrett Billings with 22 points (13G, 9A)
and rookie Stephen Leblanc has 22 points (6G, 16A). Goalie Bob Watson is first
in the league with an impressive goals against average of 6.67 per
game.
About the Orlando
Titans:
The Titans (2-1) are third in the Eastern Division of
the NLL. Orlando ranks first in the League on the power play, converting on 64%
of their power plays, and fifth in the League killing power plays 63% of the
time. The Titans are 0-1 record on the road this season.
Jordan Hall leads the Titans with 16 points (5G,
11A), followed by Casey Powell with 14 points (9G, 5A). Orlando goalie Matt Vinc
is third in the League with a goals against average of 9.67 per game. Rory Smith
is first in the League in penalty minutes with 53 in only two games played.
About the Wings:
The Wings (1-3) are currently fifth in the Eastern
Division in the NLL. Philadelphia is 10th in the League on the power play,
converting on 30% of their opportunities, and third in the League killing 65% of
the power plays against them. The Wings are 1-1 at the Wachovia
Center.
Drew Westervelt leads the Wings with 18 points (8G,
10A) and Mat Giles with 17 points (8G, 9A). Wings goalie Brandon Miller is
