Washington Stealth 15 v. Toronto Rock 11

Lewis Ratcliff was named Reebok Championship Game MVP as the Stealth won its first title in franchise history.  Ratcliff had five goals and one assist.  He also led the league with 46 goals during the regular season and finished second with 97 points.  Trailing 7-5 going into the half, the Stealth had a seven goal surge in the 4^th quarter.  Rhys Duch completed his hat trick in the final period to tie the game at 10.  Duch also had eight assists.  Ratcliff scored his final two goals to keep the momentum going for the Stealth on their way to a 15-11 victory and the NLL Championship.

 

Major League Lacrosse

Chesapeake Bayhawks 16 v. Long Island Lizards 8

John Christmas – 1 goal – 1 point

Jordan Levin – 1 assist / 2 groundballs – 1 point

Steve Panarelli – 2 groundballs

Christmas’ goal in the first half helped contribute to a 4-0 run by the Bayhawks that continued to a 16-8 win.

Chicago Machine 16 v. Toronto Nationals 9

Bill McGlone – 2 goals / 1 groundball – 2 points

Josh Sims – 2 goals, 1 2-pt goal / 2 ground balls – 3 points

Kevin Huntley – 1 assist – 1 point

Sims had a 2-point goal in the first quarter to give the Nationals a 3-2 lead.

McGlone ended the half with a goal that put the Machine up 9-6.

Sims is tied for 6^th place in the leagues scoring leaders with 3 points.

Boston Cannons 16 v. Denver Outlaws 13

Kyle Sweeney – 1 goal / 4 groundballs – 1 point

Pat Heim – 2 goals / 1 groundball – 2 points

Max Seibald – 4 goals, 1 2-pt goal / 2 groundballs – 5 points

Drew Westervelt – 2 goals / 1 groundball – 2 points

Sweeney and Heim had the first 2 goals of the game for the Cannons. 

Seibald gave the Outlaws a goal for a 5-4 lead at the end of the first quarter.  He also accounted for 4 out of 6 goals in the first half.

Seibald is tied for 2^nd place in the leagues scoring leaders with 5 points.
