Pat Heim- 2 goals – 2 points

Denver Outlaws 15 v. Toronto Nationals 12

Max Seibald- 7 goals, 1 2-pt goal, 4 assists / 7 groundballs – 12 points

Drew Westervelt- 8 goals, 1 2-pt goal, 2 assists / 6 groundballs – 11 points

Geoff Snider- 1 goal, 1 assist / 7 groundballs – 2 points

Josh Sims- 4 goals, 1 2-pt goal, 1 assist / 2 ground balls – 6 points

Kevin Huntley- 1 goal, 2 assists / 4 groundballs – 3 points

Huntley was able to cut Denver’s lead to 5 at the end of the 3rd quarter with his only goal.

Westervelt stole the show with eight goals.  Westervelt was named the games Bud Light MVP.

Notre Dame 12 v. Cornell 7

Duke 14 v. Virginia 13

Championship Results- Men

Duke 6 v. Notre Dame 5

Duke won its first NCAA men’s lacrosse championship by defeating Notre Dame 6-5.  Duke won by scoring five seconds into sudden death overtime.

Semifinal Results- Women  

Maryland 14 v. Syracuse 5

Northwestern 15 v. North Carolina 10

Championship Results- Women

Maryland 13 v. Northwestern 11

Maryland was able to defeat Northwestern becoming the only team to have 10 Division 1 national titles for women’s lacrosse.  This is the most in NCAA history.  Maryland was able to hold Northwestern scoreless for 27 consecutive minutes during the game.
