
Wings Charitable Donation and Appearance Guidelines
The Philadelphia Wings Community Relations department handles
community donation and appearance requests for charitable events in the Delaware
Valley area (Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and
Delaware).
The Wings distribute merchandise and autographed memorabilia to
support charitable efforts that benefit organizations addressing at-risk youth
as well as health and education related programs for people of all ages.
Organizations are limited to one request within a twelve-month
period.
In addition, Wings players, mascot, Mad Dog and the Wings Dance
Team are available for appearances at charitable events, schools or non-profit
organizations as schedules permit.
Non-profit organizations must submit their request for a donation
or appearance via mail at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled
event.
Requests must include the following information on the
organization's letterhead:
· Description/mission of the organization
· Event date, time and location
· Event purpose
· Expected attendance (if applicable)
· How the item(s) will be used (raffle,
door prize, auction)
· What/who proceeds will benefit
· Verification of 501(c)(3) status
