Kevin Crowley Now Leading MLL in Scoring

Following Week 7’s games, the MLL has a new league scoring leader, as Kevin Crowley jumped fellow Wings teammate Paul Rabil with a six point effort this weekend to take the lead in the scoring column with 32 points, holding a three point lead to Rabil’s 29.  Crowley had five goals and an assist in the Hamilton National’s second consecutive loss after a 5-0 start, falling to the New York Lizards 12-10.  Crowley went head to head with his Wings teammates on New York, Max Siebald and rookie CJ Costabile, who each had a goal in the Lizards win.

Wings teammates and UMBC alumns Drew Westervelt and Brendan Mundorf also took the field from opposite ends this weekend, each scoring a goal and two assists.  Mundorf and the Outlaws topped the Bayhawks 13-9, to remain undefeated with a sparkling 7-0 record heading into a week 8 match up against the 1-6 Ohio Machine.
