Elsewhere around the league, Drew Westervelt had three goals for the Chesapeake Bayhawks as they defeated the Nationals 17-10 for their fifth win of the season snapping a two game losing streak. The Nationals, whose roster is heavy with Wings players, got two goals from Jordan Hall and a goal from Kevin Crowley, while Brodie Merrill added two assists and a game high seven groundballs.
The Boston Cannons have won their third game in a row behind a goal each from Paul Rabil and Kevin Buchanan. The Cannons have has a fire ignited in them since replacing their head coach earlier this season after a 1-5 start.
