PHILADELPHIA WINGS COME TO TERMS WITH 2 FOR 2014 SEASON
WINGS AGREE TO TERMS WITH DEFENDER MICHAEL MANLEY AND FORWARD PAT SAUNDERS
The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have agreed to terms with defender Michael Manley and forward Pat Saunders.
Michael Manley returns for his second season with the Wings. During his rookie campaign, Manley logged playing time during 16 games (15 regular season games, 1 playoff game). Manley recovered 67 loose balls and had 6 points (4 assists, 2 goals). He was drafted by the Wings out of Duke University in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft.
Pat Saunders enters his fifth season in the NLL after spending time in Minnesota, Toronto, and Rochester. Saunders has appeared in one contest over his NLL career. The left-handed shooting forward has seen success playing in Canada for both the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) and the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League.
The Philadelphia Wings will host the Buffalo Bandits at Wells Fargo Center for their 2014 season home opener on Sunday, January 12, at 4 p.m.
