WINGS PRESENT “LACROSSE WAKE-UP CALL” TO EDUCATE HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS ON DANGERS OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE
Following the 2012 season, Philadelphia Wings players have been visiting area high schools and to club teams to speak with them about the importance of a positive, healthy lifestyle as an athlete in response to a recent NCAA study on drug and alcohol use at U.S. colleges.
Entitled, “A Lacrosse Wake-Up Call”, this speaking series addresses fitness, nutrition, peak performance management as well as factors that deter an athlete’s ability to perform; including drugs and alcohol.
High schools and other interested lacrosse clubs may contact the Wings’ Assistant Marketing Manager, Emily Hess, for more information and how to book a speaking session on this important topic at ehess@comcast-spectacor.com.
